Colour Scheme + Banner

I decided to go along the colour route, to synchronise the pieces I have designed already. The orange and blue is striking and beautiful, and the contrast between these bright colours and the grotesque photos of guts and anatomy I really like too.

Lee's critique suggested I continue playing with composition, scale, making mandatory type even smaller and illustrations and graphics even bigger.

Some inspiration. Biology looking textures and compositions.

Banner

An obvious banner idea for me, was to utilise the 2 sets of automatic sliding doors on level C of Te Ara Hihiko. The idea is fairly self explanatory.

So the first door opens, slicing the torso lengthways to reveal the guts behind it. Made both male and female versions. I purposely chose a normal, hairy and untoned male torso, to enhance the squeamishness of the banner, and because most guys look like this and it makes it more authentic (rather than a really toned gym torso).
